This semester saw the inauguration of the lecture series “Fascination of Materials Science & Engineering” for first-year students in our bachelor’ degree programme of the same name. The participation of our research group and the invitation of our alumna Dr.-Ing. Ronak Bahrami met with great interest among the newcomers.

Embark on an exciting innovation and entrepreneurship journey at the 2024 International Business Plan Competition, taking place from 2 to 13 January in the dynamic Greater Bay Area of Shenzhen. Students from top universities around the world, including the US, Hong Kong and Germany, are invited to work together to develop ground-breaking business ideas. The IBPC offers a comprehensive learning experience where you can develop robust business plans without prior knowledge, receive valuable feedback from international experts, improve your cross-cultural skills, build a global network and explore one of the most innovative regions in the world.
The competition is aimed at RW and Engineering students at Master and Bachelor level. In mixed working groups, 12 students from each university are brought together in 8 international teams to promote an intensive exchange of ideas and perspectives.
The University of Bayreuth actively encourages students to participate in this prestigious event and supports them in their preparation and throughout the competition.
